Reduce or eliminate trans fats
Vistive low linolenic soybeans in North America and Vistive high oleic, low linolenic rapeseed in Europe have lower levels of linolenic acid. This means that oil from Vistive products does not require hydrogenation, which reduces or eliminates trans fats in foods, while providing needed stability.

Vistive oils have proven flavor and functionality benefits. With the support of Monsanto's farming and processing partners, Vistive offers a consistent, reliable supply of better-for-you oils to food manufacturers and foodservice operations.

Now Available

  • Vistive low linolenic soybean oil, the preferred vegetable oil for eliminating trans fats in foods and food service applications. This oil offers improved stability, reducing the need for hydrogenation.

  • Vistive low linolenic plus high oleic oilseed rape improves stability and reduces the need for hydrogenation, eliminating trans fats from foods.

In the Pipeline

  • Vistive high stearate oil offers a transfat solution for food products such as shortenings and baked goods that require solid fat for functionality.

  • Vistive high oleic, low linolenic, low saturates oil offers a transfat solution for food products that require frying by combining higher monounsaturated fats, lower saturated fats, zero trans fats and improved stability.
